Lottario was a weekly lotto game drawn every Saturday night on Global Television. It was hosted regularly by Bill Lawrence ( of Tiny Talent Time hour fame) until December 1989. The Lottario Jackpot that week was over $529,000 and the draw was hosted by Faye Dance.
This video predates the Early Bird draw, so probably circa early 1980′s. Lottario was Ontario’s first online lottery game and back then there were only 39 balls … Oh, the good old days!
Lottario is a trademark of the ontario lottery corporation

Sounds like a pretty good game, better than most of the games in the States back at the time. Almost, if not entirely, all of the US lotto games required 4 matches there to be a winner (at least back in the early to mid 80′s), here 3 not only won, but it won a nice sum of five loonies.
